My name is Amy, and I have been scrapping since I was a teenager. I started out artfully arranging my high school memories, photographs and bits of memorabilia, into magnetic photo albums with custom designed covers. *shudder* When my first child was born I knew I wanted more than just a baby book, and I jumped into the “modern” world of scrapping with both feet. A few years later I saw a digital layout in a magazine and was intrigued. From the time I had started taking digital photos I had been manipulating them to print exactly what I wanted for each layout, so I decided to give digital scrapping a try. Soon after I was hooked! I absolutely love scrapping digitally and being able to instantly share my creations with my friends and family. With my help, you can too!
And so you might ask, “When I am not scrapping what do I do?” I am a mother to two young boys, one with epilepsy and one with autism. And I wouldn’t have them any other way. Yes, my hands are full, but so is my heart. They have taught me so much about love-unconditional love. They have taught me about compassion, tolerance, and acceptance. Because of them, I have met some of the most amazing people in my life. People I would never have met if I had “typical” children. Right now most of my personal scrapping is preserving their childhood, one memory at a time.
